After the fire, we lost everything. UDRS came with food and blankets — and they kept showing up.

WHERE IT ACTUALLY GOES

Every rand is spent inside a few kilometres of where it's needed. These are our own photographs, taken on our own distributions.

BEFORE YOU GIVE

The questions people actually ask us.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. UDRS NPC is a registered Non-Profit Company and an approved Public Benefit Organisation under Section 18A of the Income Tax Act (PBO 930091096). We issue a Section 18A certificate for every donation — it arrives separately from your payment receipt. If you need it sooner, email info@udrs.co.za.
Is the payment secure?
Your card details are entered on PayFast's own hosted payment page, never on this website, and we never see or store them. PayFast is a South African payment gateway used by thousands of local businesses.
Can I stop a monthly donation?
Any time, with no explanation needed. Email info@udrs.co.za or WhatsApp 076 505 3735 and we'll cancel it the same day.
How do I know the money reaches families?
Our distributions are photographed and published on the media page, and our impact page carries the running figures. You're also welcome to come with us on a distribution — several of our donors have. Ask us and we'll tell you when the next one is.
I'd rather give goods than money.
We take blankets, non-perishable food, school uniforms, clothing and hygiene products. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll arrange collection or a drop-off point — see the volunteer page for what's most needed right now.
My company wants to do something bigger.
That's the partner and investor page — CSR programmes, sponsorship, employee volunteering, and our modular housing pilot.

STILL DECIDING?

Then talk to a person. We'll tell you exactly what the money is going to this week, and you can decide after that.

Thank You for Your Generosity!
