TERMS OF USE
The terms that apply when you use this website or make a donation.
Last updated: 24 July 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website (udrs.co.za), operated by United Dream Rivers Services, a South African non-profit company (NPC Reg: [NPC registration number]), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please don't use the site.
2. Use of this site
You may browse this site and use its forms for their intended purpose — contacting us, volunteering, exploring partnership or investment opportunities, and donating. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it (including the admin dashboard), or submit false or malicious information through our forms.
3. Donations
Donations are processed by our third-party payment partners, PayFast and PayPal — we do not handle or store your card or bank details. Once a donation is successfully processed, it is generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where a payment was made in error; contact us and we'll do our best to help.
4. Recurring (monthly) donations
Choosing a monthly donation authorises a recurring payment to be collected on the same day each month until you cancel it. You can cancel or change a recurring donation at any time by contacting us at info@udrs.co.za or through your PayFast account.
5. Tax certificates
As an approved Section 18A Public Benefit Organisation (SARS PBO Exemption Reference 930091096), we issue tax-deductible receipts for qualifying donations. It's your responsibility to keep these for your own tax records; we issue certificates based on the donor details provided at the time of donation.
6. Intellectual property
The text, photos, videos, and branding on this site belong to UDRS or are used with permission (including from the individuals and families featured in our programme photography). You may not reproduce or reuse this content commercially without our written consent.
7. Third-party links
This site links to third-party services (PayFast, PayPal, WhatsApp, social media). We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third-party sites.
8. No warranty / limitation of liability
This site is provided "as is." While we try to keep it accurate and available, we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, to the fullest extent permitted by South African law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
